EILEEN GOUDGE
She was born on the Fourth of July. She was never without a cast with which to stage her early theatrical productions, which included a musical rendition of "The Christmas Carol," in which she was Ebenezer Scrooge. She began writing at age eight, with short stories and poems, and she havenít looked back since. From the early days of mostly collecting rejection slips, she went on to publish thirty-two novels for young adults, thirteen of womenís fiction, as well as numerous short stories and magazine articles, and one cookbook.
